A root canal is a restorative procedure used to save a natural tooth that has become severely damaged or infected. Inside every tooth is a soft tissue called pulp which contains nerves and blood vessels; if this pulp becomes infected it can cause significant pain and lead to abscesses. During the treatment we carefully remove the infected pulp clean the internal canals of the tooth and then seal the space to prevent any further infection. Most root canals are completed in one or two appointments each lasting approximately 90 minutes ensuring we are thorough and precise.
